Why you may need a Powerflush
A Powerflush helps deal with heating problems that you can't always see.

Reduced efficiency
Sludge, rust and limescale causes leaks and blocked pipes. Dirty water in your pipes causes heating problems and reduces efficiency.

Cold spots on your radiators
Sludge build-up causes cold spots in your radiators. This means they have to work harder to heat a room and you waste more energy.

Boiler breakdowns
A clogged boiler and pump causes breakdowns. 87% of boiler breakdowns are due to dirty water in your heating system.
How does a Powerflush work?

Before a Powerflush
The sludge in your radiators creates cold spots so the heat can't flow around them effectively.

During a Powerflush
We'll use a machine and three-step chemical process to thoroughly clean out your boiler, pipes and radiators, and replace dirty sludge with clean water.

After a Powerflush
After the Powerflush has removed sludge from your pipes, radiators and boiler, your system will work much better and efficient.
What are the signs your central heating system needs a Flush?
Sludge, rust and debris will build up in the boiler, pipework & radiators when the system is not properly maintained. These blockages restrict the flow of water throughout the heating system, which prevents the heat from reaching all areas. This transpires to loss of heat and wasted money & energy.
-
Cold spots on radiators
-
Hot water not fully heating up
-
Radiators not heating up, or taking a long time to heat
-
Banging or knocking noises emitting from central heating system
-
Boiler keeps breaking down or requiring to be reset

What are the benefits of Power Flushing?
After your central heating system has been Power Flushed, you will spot the benefits right away.
-
Radiators will heat correctly and quickly
-
Hot water temperature increased
-
It will improve the efficient running of the System which will in turn mean your energy
-
Bills will be reduced
-
The lifespan of your Central Heating System will be extended
-
The cleaner flow of hot water reduces and stops many boiler and pipe noises
-
Lessen the chance of breakdowns

What will occur if I don’t Power Flush my Central Heating System?
Circulation throughout the system will become very slow, meaning that radiators will take a long time to heat up, eventually stopping all together causing boiler failure and breakdown. Incurring very high repair bills.
The central heating system will become less efficient.

We use infrared cameras

Here we have a typical cold spot in the radiator. Once the powerflush was done the radiator was equal heat all over. Without this technology we would not be able to carry out such a thorough powerflush for our customers.
Powerflush Guarantee
Once the powerflush has been completed, we issue a guarantee for 2 years, unless we fit a magnetic filter or one already in place, then you will receive 5 year guarantee.
The guarantee covers blockages caused by sludge in the system. If this was to happen then Hydronetic Powerflush will return free of charge to re flush the system.

We also issue a certificate for powerflush. Which is accepted by British Gas & all insurance companies.

The power flush process explaned
Our engineer arrive around 8:30 - 9:00am to carry out your power flush, He will first, walk around the property to check the system, to see if the system is suitable and needs a powerflush. Once he is satisfied that the system is OK and requires a power flush, he will connect a Kamco power flush machine with magnetic filters and with the correct cleaning chemicals, to the heating system, which could be from a heating pump or removal of one radiator. The machine will clean the whole central heating system from one place. Our machines can clean upto 60 radiators at once. The process can take 4-8 hours depending on the size of your heating system and how contaminated the system is. Once the chemicals done its job and the readings are coming out clean which is within 25% of the mains water supply, which ranges from 200-300ppm in SE England and London areas. The engineer will put inhibitor into the system once the power flush is completed. We will leave you with a certificate of compliance and your heating system working to it maximum efficacy.
